Cacay
In South America, the omnipotent effect of Cacay has been known for centuries. The Cacay tree finds its origin in the catchment area of the rivers Orinoco and Amazonas - specifically in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador as well as Peru.
Cacay Tree
The evergreen Cacay tree produces fruits that are the size of oranges and usually contain three seeds. These seeds are egg-shaped and have a dark brown color - from them Cacay oil is cold pressed. A normal-sized tree in the wild with a height of about 40 meters can produce several hundred kilos of nuts per year.
Cacay Oil
Cacay oil smells naturally nutty and can be used either pure or mixed in serums, masks as well as creams. The oil is quickly absorbed and leaves the skin feeling well hydrated and pleasantly soft.
